The health inspection of the external walls zeros in on both building material and structural aging, as well as drastic climate change and the changes that may cause. The problem of loosening and peeling of wall material on the exterior wall of buildings is a frequent problem. In recent years, the frequency of injuries to pedestrians and death caused by the fall of external wall materials has been increasing. To enhance the quality of life and safeguard public safety for citizens, we need to carry out this inspection and reviewing work without interruption. After accepting the application, an architect is dispatched to the scene for onsite investigation; preliminary measures are taken directly at the scene according to the damage level in order to bear the responsibility of preventing pedestrians from being hurt.
At present, the inspection method is passive (that is, accepting the situations through notification or petitions); in the future, we shall take the initiative to declare the state of external walls according to the building's age, floor height, and wall materials and etc; therefore, the firmness of the walls of all buildings can be checked at full scale so as to reduce injuries and casualties. We hope as a product of these efforts the cityscape will look more and more magnificent while enhancing pedestrian safety, giving citizens a good living environment and an excellent living environment.
