活動主旨：為求提供國際上最新觀念的交流園地，追求整合的創新知識，運用現代科技，為人類創造更美好且可永續發展的環境。本次國際研討會議希望能透過世界相關領域菁英人士智慧整合，跨領域的專家學者共同探討創意生活科技研究成果，針對全球發展所共同面臨的議題，提出方案與解決之道，故研討會主題定為：「Creative Design for Smart Living」。分成建築、都市計畫、工業設計及創意產業四大方向，希望能藉由不同的角度針對各類規劃設計的技術及觀點進行討論。

ICPD 2013 cordially invites you to the National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Tainan, Taiwan. This biennial international forum is designed for the dissemination and exchange of up-to-date research in industrial design, creative industry design, architecture and urban planning. Your participation and contribution is pivotal to the conference’s success.

We sincerely invite your participation and submissions in any area related to Planningand Design, all submissions will be under a peer-review conducted by experts.Outstanding papers form this conference recommended will be invited for submission to the following journals:

ICPD 2013 will start with Keynote Speeches and Parallel Sessions Form the 20th to 23th of May at the NCKU, Tainan, followed by an excellent cultural tour of the city of Tainan on the 24th of May.
