Overview

The Materials Test Laboratory of TABC provides the requirements for fire testing of building materials and components in Taiwan. We implement building regulations relating to fire protection, performance testing of building materials and quality verification to improve fire safety in buildings and fire inspection technology. Also, we conduct research on testing methods, procedures, standards, and performance certification in expectation of reducing fire casualties and damage, maintaining public safety and improving the efficiency of fire protection equipment.
